Biting on paw?Question:I notice that Cocoa my 10month old Chocolate lab bites her paws in the morning mostly. I mean she is litterally putting her foot in her mouth and digging. What could this be a sign of? She doesn't do it during the day or night. Thank you, Renee' N Cocoa Answer: Welcome to the board. Constant paw biting is a sign of food/treat intolerance. What food and treats are you feeding Cocoa, especially in the morning? Answer: Sounds like allergies. What are you feeding? Can try to add bendryl. Answer: I agree, most likely food allergies. It's a problem I'm constantly battling with Grace. We have yet to figure out what it is that she's allergic to. |
