Treats

Question:
 i was just wondering what type of treats i can give my 3 month old chocky when training and using a food lure. i have been using his kibble and it seems to be ok with him but i was just wondering if there was anything else others are using with success.

Answer:
 One thing I used in training that worked really good was thinly sliced hot dogs, the good kind. Then lay them on paper towels, and a paper towel over top and pop them in the microwave for a bit till dryed out.
Liver treats work well also, but they can only have something like 3 a day if I remember correctly. Chicken works well also, but can be messy. I'd use that if you really need it for a helping to get a good recall if the hot dogs don't work, but they usually do. Apples work well for many as well, but the hot dogs really worked well here.
