Labrador Retriever,Shepherd Mix Notes: This is Bear, he came into our care by ways of his owner leaving him in a motel room. Bear has a current rabies shot and lives in Knoxville, but we have not been able to reach his owners. Bear is a friendly little guy and gets along great with his kennel mates. Bear is available for adoption now. Bear had DHLPP on 8/7/2006 Bear has a Guardian Angel, his adoption fee has been pre-paid. This pet is up to date with routine shots. Answer: This is one gorgeous dog! And his personality seems to be just as beautiful. He would make someone a wodnerful companion! Answer: He is just beautiful. And such a sad story. At least it wasn't alongside the highway I guess. But anything could have happened to this poor guy. I'll just take them all! ;) I can't stand the fact that these beautiful things are locked up, away from human affection. It breaks my heart!!! Just a few more months and then maybe I can focus on dog #4. As for now, less than 48 hours for my baby Maverick to arrive!! Oh, if only DH would let me..........*sigh Answer: Well, we could go in together and board him here, you can work on DH and then we'll at least have him here....and then when dh says yes, he's only a few miles away to pick up! ;) Seriously, think about it......:angel: Answer: LOL You're getting to be as bad as I am! I don't want to push dh too far now that we've gotten two in the past 3 months....or else I will need that lawyer! :p: But think of the benefits: dogs love ya know matter what, they don't talk back, they snuggle as close as possible and they aren't nagging at ya all the time. haha This is just the beginning for me.....I need lots of prayers and discernment. LOL Answer: Is Bear safe in a foster home? I cannot offer a permanent home just yet as I'm giving thought to a move (within the same city) later this year but if Bear's situation is urgent, I'll give thought to fostering. Bear is at the shelter and yes he is beautiful dog with alot of heart. I would love to see him fostered, so let's check with East Ridge about that question. Let me know if you would like to foster and I will ask the question ? Answer: I emailed Carl back & forth this morning. They really want someone closer to the East Ridge or Memphis location to foster so the beautiful Bear will be available to anyone who wants to meet him. They felt my St. Louis location would not work out. This dog is so beautiful, so sweet, and holds his head up with such spirit that I just know there's someone who would love him for a lifetime. He looks like a flatcoated retriever mix - has that very cheerful/loving disposition that shines through. I hope someone spots him soon and gives him a place in their heart & home. He is very scared and at first he was a little nippy but has settled down. Ceaser will be available for adoption on 11/10/2006.
