Fish smell

 I have a 2 year old female baby Yorkie (spaded) After holding her she is leaving a fishy smell on our cloths. She is very clean and healthy.Anyone know what it is and what we can do? Thank You All

 is it coming from her mouth or her body?

 it's her anal glands. coco had this smell too, and i couldn't figure out what it was for the life of me until i investigated with my nose and found out the hard way! sometimes they drain on their own, or sometimes they have to be expressed by your vet or you if you learn how.

 If I were guessing I would say if its coming from her back end it could be a yeast infection or her anal glands. Either way I would take her to the vet. If its not just a normal "dog smell" you should let her be seen by a vet. If her anal glands are full then its a simple procedure to excrete them otherwise you might need a anitbiotic for a yest infection. Just my guess to what it might be I did some reading about yeast infections in female dogs and it sounds like a possibility.
