In Memory of Sasha

Question:
 She died only a few days before her tenth birthday so she didn't make it to a real old age though she aged faster than she needed to it seems. The hardship of her illness probably added onto her age though. She got what is common in Shepehrds, I forget the name... it was an autoimune disease and the muscles in her face deteiorated. She was on steroids to help slow the process but it couldn't be stopped. time went on and we put her to sleep. She was a good girl. She was a black and white Siberian husky with one blue eye and one brown eye. It wasn't easy to let her go. I found this pic of her and I just had to share it. You don't notice her face getting smaller in this pic and I think it was before she got her skin illness too. All her fur started to come off and leave scabs of dry blood. If she had it here, you won't see it 'cause it was all on her back and this is only her face. You can see she looks old but sh'es only about 9 years old here and though that is old for a dog, I looked at it today and would have guessed she was twelve. She was gorgeous in her youthful years and though she looks odler thna she was here, she was still pretty.

 Of course she is pretty, very pretty. It is hard to see them go, even though they are off to a better place. We love to hold them close and have their little hearts beating close to ours. I am very sorry for you. She is a dear.

 Thanks, everyone. She passed a few years ago, I just found that pic and couldn't believe it was her at first, lol. She was a dear ^^

 Its always hard to let go but we never forget. She looked like a dear old girl.

 It's so hard when all of a sudden we run across a picture of a beloved pet that has passed. When it happens, I always touch my finger to their face and say, "I love you!" Even years later.
Then I heap extra lovin onto the three I have now.
