Yorkie has white lumps?

Question:
Hi guys,
Quick question I noticed just before my dog jakes check up for flying to usa he had a white lump on his thigh about the size of a grain of rice but round, it is not attached to anything is just beneath the skin, it is not sore no matter how hard I squeeze it. My vet checked it on his fit to fly check up and said to keep and eye on it and if it didnt clear to get it checked in usa.
Well since we arrived I noticed another similar but smaller lump on his mid back to the left of his spine.
I am going to the vet as soon as I can find one locally but I am worried as my vet in uk casually said it could be many things cyst, spot, wart etc but he also mentioned the word tumour in this list and needless to say I am panicing.
Anyone every had experience of this?

Ruthx Mine have had occasional cysts similar to what you are descirbing and we've just had them removed. They never amounted to anything. I am not sure if it is typical of the breed or just smaller dogs but I won't worry too much about it, just keep up with it. Good luck!

Answer:
Carley had a tiny little lump near her neck. I took her into the vet and they did a needle aspiration and she looked at the cells under a microscope. She told me it was a cyst (had a fancy name) and was nothing to worry about. She did say to watch it, and bring her back if it got larger, but she felt it was just a cyst and nothing big. The needle aspiration wasn't very much, less than 50.00 ( I think ) and I have an expensive vet (in my opinion), but I really really like her.
